The Langematik Perpetual was introduced in 2001, and has been one of the most sought-after perpetual calendars ever since. The model was available in both 18k pink gold and platinum, and later yellow gold as well, all with a silvered dial. In September of 2014, Lange released a new version of this popular watch, the first update since the watch’s original release.

The Langematik Perpetual contains Lange’s zero-reset mechanism, a patented feature that makes the second hand jump to zero and the movement stop when the crown is pulled out to set the time.  The calendar functions can be individually adjusted or all done simultaneously through four correctors in the band. Additionally, (if kept running) the model will only need to be corrected once every one hundred years for the perpetual calendar and once every 122.6 years for the moon phase. The movement, dial and case design remain the same, but the replacement of the silvered dial with black gives this model an elegant update, and contrasts beautifully with the white gold. The present example is in like new condition.
