The Wolverines don’t often use the Block "M" to spell out “Michigan” nowadays, but they did use this alternate wordmark officially from 1961 to 1994. The Block "M" has been Michigan’s main logo since the start, and you’ll find it everywhere on campus, including the famous "M" in the center of the Diag.
